Henry Stevens grew up in South Boston, Virginia. He studied for two years in Kunshan, China until the COVID-19 Pandemic forced him to return to the United States, where he finished his degree at Duke. A writer and educator in the Old Dominion University MFA program, he read for the Barely South Review and the science fiction/fantasy magazine The Colored Lens. He also edited the ODU student anthology Constellate. His fiction has been published in the New Plains Review, The Dead Mule School of Southern Literature, ARTWIFE, the Nude Bruce Review, Teach.Write., Please See Me, and Gravity of the Thing. He served as a digital director for Dr. Gary Miller’s campaign for the Virginia House of Delegates. He is now the editor-in-chief of his own literary magazine Dominique and works as a digital strategist for various clients.
